Your business already knows how it wants to work.
Humber Foundry is a software practice on Canada’s west coast. We build custom systems, connect the tools you already use, and put AI to work where it earns its place — all shaped to the way your business actually runs.
Half an hour on how your business runs, and what could run itself.
Most days, the real work waits.
It waits while numbers are copied from one program into another. While someone chases an update that should have arrived on its own. While two systems hold two versions of the truth, and somebody has to go find out which.
Hours of this, every week, in every business. That’s the noise.
What we build
Custom software
Tools made for one business: yours. Software that starts from how you and your people actually work, and holds its shape as you grow. When a tool fits this well, people reach for it on their own.
Integrations
Your CRM, your project tracker, your books, your inbox — taught to keep one another current. A fact entered once appears everywhere it belongs, and the copying ends.
AI, where it earns its place
Reading, sorting, drafting, watching for the thing that needs a human. We put AI to work on the repetitive middle of the day, under rules you set: your data stays yours, a person stays in charge, and every automation shows its work.
Work you can visit

Systems you can’t screenshot
Some of the deepest work never shows up in a browser. Three examples, drawn instead.
Six languages, one conversation
An international organization needed groups across its campus to consult in up to six languages at once. We designed the simultaneous-interpretation infrastructure that carried it — the booths, the channels, the distribution between them — with one measure of success: nobody in the room should have to think about it. Simple in the hand, complex under the floor.
An edit suite that worked like a shared document
A media team prized collaboration, and their editing software pinned every project to one machine and one owner. We moved the whole suite onto a server, where any editor could open any project and work beside the others, the way a shared document works. Output rose, and quality with it: the tools finally matched the team’s values.
A studio imagined before it was built
A production studio has to be imagined years ahead of its use: the rooms, the signal paths, the equipment, and all the ways a media team might one day stretch the space. We specced and designed the whole system, and the team has been growing into it ever since.
How we work
It starts with a conversation — thirty minutes, you talking, us listening. Then discovery: we sit inside how your business actually runs until we can draw it. You get a map before anything gets built: what to make, what it costs, what it changes. Then we build, launch, and stay until it runs without us.
“Best money I’ve ever spent as a CEO… He doesn’t care about title. He just wants to ship… Such an underrated unlock, I have since hired two more.”
Codie Sanchez, investor & founder, on hiring this kind of builderThat’s the seat Humber Foundry fills — on contract, for as long as you need it.
The noise can run itself now, and you can set it down.
Let’s make some music.
Tell us a little about your business, and we’ll reply with a few times to talk.
